About

With more than 22 years of professional services experience, Elsa is a seasoned business development and marketing leader, partnering with individual attorneys and law firms to meet objectives, create opportunities, and ultimately grow revenue.

As a certified business development coach, Elsa has extensive experience coaching partners and associates in developing and growing books of business. Her coaching sessions provide tips on how to develop personal BD styles, cultivate relationships, create accountability, and define goals that increase revenue in an authentic and sustainable manner.

Elsa also has experience leading teams at regional, national, and international AmLaw 100 firms. She is a problem solver by nature and uses efficient processes to execute both large and small projects. She has managed a wide variety of teams across multiple offices and enjoys mentoring and training professional staff. She has held a variety of positions in law firm marketing departments and has broad experience with business development coaching and planning, strategic planning, RFP and pitch process management, client and industry teams, branding and website development, internal and external communications, client events, technology, and other strategic initiatives.

Elsa has also repeatedly been tapped to work with cross-departmental teams on special initiatives, including developing and introducing alumni programs and women’s initiatives; creating efficient processes for core department functions; restructuring marketing teams; introducing new services; and providing strategic direction for practices and law firms. With a business background, she understands processes and people; and is adept at writing strategic plans, developing policies and procedures, and securing buy-in from key stakeholders.

Recently, Elsa held a dual role as the Director of Marketing and Office Manager, where she supervised non-marketing professional staff including paralegals, trial fellows, and litigation assistants. Acting as one of the human resources representatives, she introduced core competencies and developed a more robust evaluation process to provide more transparency and increase retention. Elsa was responsible for updating handbooks, creating policies, resolving employment issues, and working with outside employment counsel in both California and New York.

Outside of work, Elsa enjoys spending time with her family and her two Boston Terriers – Samantha and Sophia. With two teenage boys, you can almost always find her on a baseball field or volleyball court.
